The fastener (100) includes a head (106), a neck (108) extending below the 5 head (106), a collar (104) connected to the head (106) through the neck (108), and a panel engaging retainer (102) integrally connected to the collar (104). The panel engaging retainer (102) includes a central shank (110) extending longitudinally from the collar (104) in a direction distal from the head (106), with a nose (116) in proximity to a distal end. The panel 10 engaging retainer (102) further has a plurality of engagement limbs (112) and a plurality of support limbs (114), each connecting the collar (104) and the nose (116). The engagement limbs (112) and support limbs (114) are symmetrically positioned about a central axis (A-A) passing through the central shank (110). The engagement limbs (112) are flexible towards the 15 central shank (110) and more flexible than the support limbs (114)."
