MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202414087791 A) filed by Staubli Faverges, Faverges-Seythenex, France, on Nov. 13, 2024, for 'female element for fluidic connector.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This female element (100) is provided for rapid fluidic connection to a nipple (20) 5 including a circumferential groove (40) and comprises a latch (140) with a tooth (150) able to penetrate the circumferential groove (40) of the nipple. The latch also comprises a passage ring (142), which surrounds the body (102), and which cooperates with surfaces of the body so that the ring is guided in translation relative to the body according to a locking axis (Z102). The latch comprises a tooth support 10 (154), which presents an elongated shape and connects the tooth (150) to the passage ring, the tooth being axially offset toward the front of the through-ring. The latch also comprises an actuating surface (S156), which is located opposite the tooth (150) relative to the body (102)."
