MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441016800 A) filed by Ordnance Factory Medak, Sangareddy, Telangana, on March 8, 2024, for 'fixture for rear door assembly of carrier command post tracked (ccpt) vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a fixture for rear door assembly of carrier command post tracked (CCPT) vehicle. Particularly, the invention provides a development of rear door assembly to be welded in a proper way with straightness to obtain good quality of weld and assembly being rigid is having a proper clamping mechanism. The fixture for rear door assembly of carrier command post tracked (CCPT) vehicle comprises a door assembly (1), a plurality of angle sections (2), a counterweight (3), bolt (4), handle (5), blocks (6), top plate (7), and eye bolt (8). The fixture for door assembly of carrier commands post tracked (CCPT) vehicle comprises a door assembly (1) wherein a plurality of angle sections welded to the frame of the door for reinforcement and rigidity. A counterweight (3) is positioned near the bottom of the door to balance it and aid in smooth operation."
