MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517046146 A) filed by Dow Global Technologies Llc, Midland, U.S.A., on May 13, for 'flame retardant polymeric compositions.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A polymeric composition includes a first ethylene-based polymer having a density of 0.93 g/cc to 0.97 g/cc as measured according to ASTM D792, a second ethylene-based polymer having a density of 0.93 g/cc to 0.97 g/cc as measured according to ASTM D792, wherein the second ethylene-based polymer has a melt index (I2) of 3.0 g/10 minute or greater as measured according to ASTM D1238, wherein the combination of the first and second ethylene-based polymers has a Relaxation Spectrum Index value of 10 to 25, a polydispersity index of 10 or greater as measured according to Gel Permeation Chromatography, and a dynamic oscillatory shear viscosity at 100 radians per second of 500 Pa.S or less as measured according to ASTM D4440-15. The polymeric composition also includes a compatibilizer and a flame retardant filler."
