Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Flavour Improvements In Beverages' Filed by Sustain Co2 Limited

MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517045941 A) filed by Sustain Co2 Limited, Leeds, U.K., on May 13, for 'flavour improvements in beverages.'

Inventor(s) include Story, John Micheal.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The use of an additive for improving the flavour of a beverage. The additive is selected from: a polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester; a polyethylene glycol fatty acid ester; or a polyglycerol fatty acid ester. The additive may be particularly effective in improving the flavour of carbonated beverages comprising intense sweeteners."
