MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202544009746 A) filed by Cummins Inc., Columbus, U.S.A., on Feb. 6, for 'fleet depot charging systems and methods.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Systems and methods for charging fleets of equipment are provided. A provider computing system includes at least one processing circuit that performs operations including receiving an equipment charging request from a piece of equipment; receiving data regarding the piece of equipment; 5 receiving at least one fleet priority value associated with a fleet of equipment, the fleet of equipment including the piece of equipment; determining a charging parameter for the piece of equipment based on the data regarding the piece of equipment and the at least one fleet priority value; receiving an indication of a charging connection between the piece of equipment and a charger at the equipment charging depot; receiving information via the charging connection 10 subsequent to the indication; and adjusting the charging parameter based on the received information via the charging connection."
