MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013540 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 24, 2024, for 'floatable gardening system.'

Inventor(s) include Pratham Majumder.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A floatable gardening system, comprising a platform 1 positioned on surface of a water body for accommodating plants by a concerned user, an inflatable member 2 configured underneath the platform 1 for floating the platform 1, a water reservoir 3 mapped on the platform 1 for transferring water via plurality of conduits 4 attached with the reservoir 3 to the plants, a motorized fan 5 assembled on the platform 1 for blowing air to remove dust and to maintain temperature in surrounding of the plant, a thermal camera 6 installed on the platform 1 detecting presence of insects and a LED (Light Emitting Diode) light 7 installed on the platform 1 for illuminating light on the plants to provide proper visibility of the plants."
