MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202444096426 A) filed by Vitaliy Kravchenko, Largo, U.S.A., on Dec. 6, 2024, for 'flood water barrier gate.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable flood-resistant barrier for removable installation in a window or door is provided. 5 A vertically adjustable anchor mounts to the opening frame using a jacking system. One or more flood gates having water impermeable panels attach to the anchors, and can be laterally expanded to engage a silicone seal with the sides and bottom of the opening. An improved peripheral seal minimizes the likelihood of leakage at the corners. For wide openings, multiple flood gates can be assembled adjacent to each other."
