MUMBAI, India, June 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311083996 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Dec. 8, 2023, for 'floor surface levelling assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A floor surface levelling assistive device, comprising a pair of platforms 1 positioned on a ground surface and accessed by a user to attain a kneel down posture, an inverted U-shaped member 3 for enabling user to engage feet while attaining posture, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 4 for capturing and processing images of surface that is spread with a mortar mixture for evaluating 3D mapping, a touch interactive display panel 5 for displaying evaluated mapping and enabling user to specify a portion of surface that user desires to level, a pair of motorized hinge joint 6 for tilting a telescopic bar 7 interconnected between joints 6 in a manner that provides movement to platform 1, and a laser sensor for detecting levelling of mixture and microcontroller generates command towards vibrating unit 8 for generating vibrations in levelling of proper spreading of mixture on surface."
