MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024839 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 27, 2024, for 'flower bouquet preparation assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Baljinder Kaur; Dr. Kismat Kaur; Ruhani; and Kunika Aggarwal.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A flower bouquet preparation assistive device, comprising a body 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface of field cultivated with flowers, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 installed on the body 1 evaluates a 3D (three-dimension) mapping of the field, a touch interactive display panel 3 mapped on the body 1 for displaying the evaluated mapping, a robotic link 4 configured on the body 1 to extend/retract to position a C-shaped clamp attached with the link 4 in proximity to stem of the plant, a motorized tong 5 installed on the body 1 to grip the stem portion of plant in a secured manner and a speaker 6 mounted on the body 1 to notify the user regarding the detected pest."
