MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019277 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'fluid dispensing assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Sachin Gupta.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a fluid dispensing assistive device, comprising a body 1 positioned over a pack of fluid, a touch screen 2 mounted over the body 1 to allow a user to enter details, camera 3 mounted over the body 1 capturing images of the pack, a rectangular section 4 configured with multiple sharp plates 5 attached via a telescopically operated rod 6 for cutting the pack, a flap 7 configured with a motorized drawer arrangement 8 for extracting cut part of the pack, a motorized slider 9 fabricated over the body 1 to move a funnel shaped structure 10 paired with slider 9 within the opening and a pump 11 installed within the body 1 for dispensing adequate amount of fluid within the vessel."
