MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411012724 A) filed by Havells India Limited, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'flyback transformer.'
Inventor(s) include Aman Jha; Rupendar Kumar; and Bijay Samal.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a flyback transformer (!00), comprising: a bobbin (102); a ferrite core (104) spatially located around at least a part of the bobbin (102); a primary winding (106) wound around the bobbin (102) to receive an input current; and a secondary winding (108) wound around the bobbin (102) to deliver an output current, wherein the flyback transformer (100) is configured to operate up to 210 Watts (W). The flyback transformer efficiency is at least 92%, and the flyback transformer thermal capability is up to 120 degrees Celsius (C)."
