MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421020348 A) filed by Devangan Radhe Prasad, Korba, Chhattisgarh, on March 19, 2024, for 'folding seat enabled bike.'
Inventor(s) include Dewangan Ishita Kumari.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A folding seat enabled bike comprising: one or more elongate rods (4) configured to stem out of a rear portion of a bike (5) where its normal seat ends such that, the rods (4) provide an operatively top-located seat (1), said seat (1) being a foldable seat; and a belt (3) being provided to secure a user to the seat (1)."
