MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311079830 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Nov. 24, 2023, for 'food processing device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A food processing device comprises of a body 1 configured with handles 2 positioned on a fixed surface, plurality of compartments 3 for allowing a user to store different type of fruits, a touch interactive display panel 4 for enabling the user to specify a type of operation done with the fruits, a pair of robotic gripper 5 for positioning user-specified fruit within a platform 6 arranged, a peeling arrangement configured with a blade 8 for peeling outer skin of fruit, a gear train arrangement configured with a cutter arranged for cutting the fruits, a mixing container 10 configured with a motorized stirrer for blending the fruits, a hollow conduit for allowing transfer of fruit blend within a bowl 11 and an audio unit to notify the user to collect salad and fruit-blend."
