MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517056368 A) filed by Shibaura Machine Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on June 11, for 'forming device.'
Inventor(s) include Yamazaki, Yuki; and Sasaki, Hironari.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This forming device comprises: a tie bar including a recessed mold-clamping groove portion; a movable die plate; and a pair of mold-clamping split nuts which include a convex protruding portion and are provided on the movable die plate, the pair of mold-clamping split nuts being configured such that, in a state in which molds are clamped together, the protruding portion meshes with the mold-clamping groove portion to regulate movement of the movable die plate relative to the tie bar. The protruding portion is formed such that, when viewed from a direction orthogonal to the tie bar, a tip-end portion, which is the part of the protruding portion that is introduced into the mold-clamping groove portion first, tapers on both sides in the direction in which the tie bar extends."
