MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019366 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'four-wheeler vehicle parking assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Aishwary Awasthi.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a four-wheeler vehicle parking assistive device, comprising a platform 1 positioned within a parking lot, plurality of ultrasonic sensors 2 arranged on the platform 1 for detecting area of empty space of the parking lot, a camera 3 mounted on the platform 1 detecting vehicle dimensions, a projection unit 5 installed on the platform 1 to guide a user in aligning the vehicle, a plate 6 configured over the platform 1 via an inverted U-shaped frame 7 for adhering the plate 6 with rear portion via suction cups 8 attached with the plate 6, a speaker 9 mounted on the platform 1 for notifying the user and a laser sensor 10 positioned on platform 1 for detecting distance of platform 1 from a back wall of the empty space."
