MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020757 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'four-wheeler vehicles loading and unloading assistive device for trailers.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A four-wheeler vehicles loading and unloading assistive device for trailers comprises of a rectangular frame 1 constructed with multiple telescopically operated elongated members 2 organized in vertical and horizontal manner and positioned on a ground surface via first and second pair of hydraulic rods 3 and first end of the frame 1 is developed to be positioned in proximity to trailer in which four-wheeler vehicles are to be for detecting height of the trailer to actuate the first pair of rods 3 configured at the first end of frame 1 to extend/retract for aligning the first end with the trailer, multiple motorize hinges 5 to tilt the members 2 towards/away from each other with actuation of the second pair of rods 3 to retract in view of orienting the frame 1 as a ramp to allow the vehicles to load/unload from the trailer."
