MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411017919 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 12, 2024, for 'frame hanging assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A frame hanging assistive device includes a platform 1 configured with multiple wheels 2 each via a rod to provide movement to platform 1 over surface of ground and wall, an imaging unit 4 synced with an laser measurement sensor for capturing and processing images of wall and frame accordingly an microcontroller evaluates frame's dimensions and 3-Dimensional mapping of wall that is displayed over a display panel 5 accessed by user to select portion of wall to hang frame, microcontroller evaluates multiple locations over user-specified portion to hang frame and actuates a projection unit 6 to project virtual images over portion to enable user to visualize and accordingly select a desired area to hang frame, wheels 2 positions platform 1 at user-specified area, an arm 8 configured with a nail gun 9 for inserting nails over user-specified area, sequentially two grippers 7 grips and hang frame over inserted nails."
