MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641024930 A) filed by Srm University-Ap, Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, on March 3, for 'framework for energy-efficient optimization in reconfigurable intelligent surface assisted wireless network control system.'
Inventor(s) include Mr. Ammar Summaq; Mr. Mukkara Prasanna Kumar; and Dr. Sunil Chinnadurai.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a method and system of wireless communication using HIDRL-ISAC framework (100) for energy optimization. The HIDRL-ISAC framework (100) triggers the master learning agent (202) directly to optimize beamforming and RIS phase shift in real time to establish the connection link in case the user is outside the beamforming region. Furthermore, the HIDRL-ISAC framework (100) incorporates the ISAC module to refine the connection link in real time in case the user is inside the beamforming region. The ISAC module (300) incorporates Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) (302) to convert raw sensing data into ISAC feedback that serves as the input for the slave learning agent (204) for adjusting base station (BS) transmit power and to maximize Energy Efficiency (EE) in real time while maintaining communication quality."
