MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517059336 A) filed by Danmarks Tekniske Universitet, Lyngby, Denmark, on June 20, for 'free-standing biomass-derived carbon hybrid electrodes.'

Inventor(s) include Edathil, Anjali Achazhiyath; Rezaei, Babak; Keller, Stephan Sylvest; and Almdal, Kristoffer.

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing of free-standing carbon electrodes comprising a patterned three-dimensional structure which was filled with a biomass-derived polymer."

The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 08, 2023, under International application No.PCT/EP2023/084923.
