MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011176 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 10, for 'fruit juice feeding device for infants.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Tapaswinee Das.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A fruit juice feeding device for infants, comprising a circular frame 101 having a cup-shaped concave flap 102 attached with the frame 101, for containing a fruit pulp, an iris lid 201 provided at the flap 102 that dispenses fruit juice for feeding an infant, a circular plate 103 attached with the frame 101 for closing of the flap 102, an inverted rod 104 disposed at the plate 103 for enabling the infant to grip the plate 103, a vertical slider 202 installed within the flap 102 having a circular flap 203 configured for pressing fruit pulp towards the iris lid 201 for feeding the infant, a mesh fabric 204 configured above the iris lid 201 allows passage of fruit juice, a motorized roller 105 installed on the plate 103, containing a spool of strap and a speaker 107 provided on the plate 103 to generate alert for a user."
