MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517057636 A) filed by Adel, Inc.; and Oscotec Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on June 16, for 'fusion comprising anti-tau antibody and peptide and use thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Cho, Mi Hyang.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a fusion and use thereof, the fusion comprising an anti-tau antibody or an antigen-binding fragment thereof and a blood-brain barrier receptor-binding peptide. The fusion of the present invention specifically binds to tau proteins by passing through the blood-brain barrier, and thus can effectively prevent or treat neurodegenerative diseases mediated by tau proteins."
The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 05, 2023, under International application No.PCT/KR2023/019923.
