MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006216 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 30, 2024, for 'gadget holding device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Parveen Singla; Dr. Ruchi Singla; and Dr. Dinesh Arora.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A gadget holding device, comprises a frame 1 having multiple suction cups 2 developed to be placed over an adapter via multiple telescopic links 3, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 4 for capturing and processing multiple images of the adapter, a curved plate 5 enables the user to place a gadget over the plate, multiple electromagnetic patches 6 to get magnetize in order to grip the gadget on the user-placed position, a hall sensor for monitoring the magnitude of the magnetic field, a vibration sensor for monitoring the vibrations caused by the gadget, a temperature sensor for determining the temperature of the gadget, a cooling gel pad 7 for reducing the temperature of the gadget, an air blower 9 for removing the water droplets, a robotic gripper 8 to turn on/off a switch associated with the socket, and a speaker 10 to generate a voice notification."
