MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023142 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 24, 2024, for 'gas cylinder carriage assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A gas cylinder carriage assistive device, comprises of an elongated telescopically operated frame 1 having a first portion configured with a handle gripped by a user and a second portion configured with a horizontal bar, a microphone positioned on the handle for enabling a user to give voice commands for lifting the cylinder, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 mounted on the handle, for detecting the user's height, a laser projection unit mounted on the handle to emit a laser beam for guiding the user to position a C-shaped extendable member configured with the frame 1 and an L-shaped telescopically operated rod 4 is installed with the frame 1 to extend for engaging with collar of the cylinder."
