MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517046114 A) filed by Desiccant Co. Ltd., Daejeon, Republic of Korea, on May 13, for 'gel-type desiccant composition and desiccant pack comprising same.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a gel-type desiccant composition and a desiccant pack comprising same. Specifically, the present invention provides a desiccant pack which comprises, as a gel-type desiccant composition, at least one hygroscopic material selected from the group consisting of magnesium chloride, calcium chloride and sodium carbonate, a hygroscopic polymer and a starch, and which uses a triple-layered plain film as a packaging material for packaging same."
