MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019162 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'glue dispensing assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Arun Gupta.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A glue dispensing assistive device, comprises of a cylindrical hollow body 1 developed to accommodate a glue dispensing bottle, a handle 2 for gripping the body 1, an inflatable member 3 for gripping the bottle, a microphone 4 to give commands regarding the amount of glue, a bar 7 installed via L-shaped rod 5 installed for positioning a disc 6 at the rear potion of bottle, a pulley arrangement 8 for gripping the back portion of the bottle, a set of blades 9 for cutting the back of the bottle, a camera 10 for detecting successful cutting of the bottle, a gripper 11 for removing the cut portion of the bottle, a conical unit 12 installed with the body 1 via an link 13 through which the glue flows out of the bottle, a motorized iris pore 14 to control the dispensing of glue."
