MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517079904 A) filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd., Beijing, on Aug. 22, for 'gnss measurement method and apparatus, and device and storage medium.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present application relates to the field of mobile communications. Disclosed are a GNSS measurement method and apparatus, and a device and a storage medium. The method comprises: receiving configuration information, wherein the configuration information is used for configuring a first measurement gap, and the first measurement gap is used for performing GNSS measurement. By means of configuring for a terminal a first measurement gap used for performing GNSS measurement, the terminal can perform the GNSS measurement in the first measurement gap. The first measurement gap can be set according to actual situations, such that the problem of it being not possible for a terminal to perform GNSS measurement when a GNSS measurement result of the terminal indicates a failure can be avoided."
