MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421006157 A) filed by Reliance Industries Limited, Maharashtra, on Jan. 30, 2024, for 'graphene reinforced concrete composition and a process for its preparation.'
Inventor(s) include Vivek Prabhakar Raje; Amol Shewale; Debarati Roy Chowdhury; and Joseph Berkmans Amirthasamy.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a graphene reinforced concrete composition and a process for its preparation. The graphene reinforced concrete composition of the present disclosure demonstrates improved compressive strength, flexural strength, split tensile strength and reduced water permeability, chloride ingress, crack propagation compared to the conventional concrete."
