MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611007501 A) filed by Dr Amit Kumar Gupta; and Nikita Gautam, Udaipur, Rajasthan, on Jan. 26, for 'green, efficient and economical biosorbent from moringa concanensis seeds for sustainable wastewater treatment.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Biosorbents prepared from Moringa concanensis seeds demonstrate excellent efficiency in removing dye pollutants from wastewater. The simple preparation approach offers a sustainable and cost-effective wastewater treatment option, while thorough characterization and optimization ensure maximum performance, making the biosorbent suitable for both laboratory-scale studies and industrial applications."
