MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411004750 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 23, 2024, for 'greenhouse roof cleaning device.'
Inventor(s) include Ritu Gupta.
The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A greenhouse roof cleaning device, comprises of a platform 1 developed to be positioned on roof of a green house, a camera 2 mounted on the platform 1 for capturing multiple images of the roof, four motorized omnidirectional wheels 3 configured underneath the platform 1 for positioning the platform 1 in proximity to each of the wheels 3 in a successive manner, electronic nozzles 4 ranging from 3 to 5 in numbers connected with a chamber 5 installed on housing for dispensing the cleaning solution on the glasses in the successive manner, an L-shaped rod 6 installed with the platform 1 via a tow-axis lead screw arrangement 7 and configured with a brush 8 for scrubbing the glasses, and electronic valves 10 configured on the platform 1 and connected with a vessel 11 for dispensing the water in view of rinsing each of the glasses in the successive manner."
