MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010313 A) filed by Hero Motocorp Limited, New Delhi, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'grip unit of handlebar of vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a grip unit (200) of a handlebar (114) of a vehicle (100). The grip unit (200) comprises a grip body (202) defined with a hollow core (202h) axially extending between a first end (202a) and a second end (202b) of the grip body (202). The grip unit (200) comprises at least one insert member (204, 206) adapted to be received in a corresponding slot (208, 210) defined in a first portion (202c) of the grip body (202). The first portion (202c) is proximal to the first end (202a) of the grip body (202). The at least one insert member (204, 206) defined with a threaded bore (204a, 204b) adapted to receive a fastener (212) for mounting the grip unit (200) on the handlebar (114) of the vehicle (100)."
