According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A hair cutting assistive device, comprising an oval shaped frame 1 accessed by a user to position in proximity to hairs of a person to be cut, a microphone 2 installed over the frame 1 for receiving user's voice commands, an imaging unit 3 installed on the frame 1 for determining hair density, a projection unit 4 installed over the frame 1 to project laser light over the hairs, a speaker 5 installed over the frame 1 for providing commands to the user, a pair of robotic grippers 6 installed on the frame 1 for grabbing hairs, plurality of pneumatic bristles 7 installed over inner periphery of the frame 1 for combing hairs, a motorized cutter 8 configured with on the frame 1 for cutting the hairs and a pair of L-shaped telescopic bars 9 installed with the frame 1 attached with a tray 10 to collect the cut hairs."
