MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023998 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 26, 2024, for 'hair wash assistive device for toddlers.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A hair wash assistive device for toddlers comprises of, a ring-shaped structure 1 developed to be worn on a toddler's head, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 arranged on the structure 1 to determine dimensions of the toddler's head, a drawer arrangement 3 arranged on the structure 1 to get extended, a cavity crafted at mid portion of the structure 1 to get properly secured on the toddler's head, a multiple motorized hinges 4 is configured on upper portion of the structure 1 to tilt upper portion of the structure 1 to attain a concave shape, an inlet valve 5 assembled on the structure 1 for engaging a water pipe with the inlet to allow flow of water onto the toddler's head, and multiple electronically controlled nozzles 7 to dispense solutions including hair wash and conditioner stored in the chamber 6 over the toddler's head."
