MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023110 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 24, 2024, for 'hand-held flattened dough handling assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Kul Bhushan Anand.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An hand-held flattened dough handling assistive device that is comprises of a U-shaped body 1 developed to be positioned by a user in proximity to a flattered dough, an imaging unit 3 to detect presence and exact location of flattered dough positioned on a fixed surface in proximity to the body 1, a holographic projection unit 4 to project a holographic image on the surface to guide the user to position the body 1 in proximity to the dough, a pair of telescopically operated rod 9 to extend for positioning a pair of rollers 7 at a required height for orienting a conveyor belt 8 coupled with the rollers 7 at an inclined angle with respect to the fixed surface, and a pair of robotic arms 5 installed on lateral sides of the body 1 and integrated with a rectangular flap for scrapping edges of the dough."
