MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202525063536 A) filed by Largan Precision Co. Ltd., Taichung City, Taiwan, on July 3, for 'head-mounted device.'
Inventor(s) include Hsin-Hsuan Huang.
The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A head-mounted device (100) includes a display system (110) including a projecting module (111) and an image transmitting module (112). The projecting module (111) includes a projection lens assembly, which includes an optical lens assembly (1) and an image source (1112). The optical lens assembly (1) includes five lens elements (E1, E2, E3, E4, E5), which are, in order from a magnification side to a reduction side: a first lens element (E1), a second lens element (E2), a third lens element (E3), a fourth lens element (E4) and a fifth lens element (E5). Each of the five lens elements (E1, E2, E3, E4, E5) has an m-side surface facing towards the magnification side and an r-side surface facing towards the reduction side. At least one lens element of the optical lens assembly (1) is made of plastic material and has a surface being aspheric."
