MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517127176 A) filed by Caihong Display Devices Co. Ltd., Shaanxi, China, on Dec. 15, 2025, for 'heat dissipation device and method for molten glass in platinum channel.'

Inventor(s) include Wang, Menglong; Hou, Hongrong; Yang, Wei; and Wang, Canglong.

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided in the present invention are a heat dissipation device and method for molten glass in a platinum channel. The device comprises a heat dissipation unit and a monitoring unit, wherein the monitoring unit and the heat dissipation unit can be mounted on a pipe section of a platinum channel; the heat dissipation unit comprises an internal cooling assembly and an external air-guide assembly; the external air-guide assembly can be connected to an external cooling air-supply apparatus, such that a control unit controls the temperature of molten glass in the pipe section of the platinum channel on the basis of molten glass temperature data monitored by the monitoring unit; the internal cooling assembly comprises a circulating cooling pipe arranged inside the platinum channel; the circulating cooling pipe has an air inlet and an air outlet; pipe sections of the air inlet and the air outlet run through and extend out of the platinum channel and are communicatively connected to the external air-guide assembly; and the external air-guide assembly has an external connecting pipe for connection to the external cooling air-supply apparatus. The present invention can achieve the aim of rapid and uniform heat dissipation for molten glass, thereby effectively mitigating the defect of existing equipment in which space is sacrificed for capacity, and providing favorable conditions for subsequent glass processing."
