MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018167 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 13, 2024, for 'heavy object lifting device.'
Inventor(s) include Sunil Kumar Gaur.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A heavy object lifting device comprising of a body 1 having a first and second portion 3 to be positioned on a ground surface, an artificial intelligence-based image capturing module 4 for capturing multiple images of surroundings, plurality of motorized caterpillar wheels 5 for maneuvering and positioning the body 1 near an object, a hydraulically operated gripping unit 6 to grip the object, an universal joint to assist in gripping the object, a hydraulically operated extendable rod 7 for extending to assist the gripping unit to grip the object, plurality of telescopic clamping unit 8 for extending and gripping the object in a secure manner, a touch interactive display panel 9 for entering co-ordinates of a location and a motorized slew bearing 10 for rotating the first portion 2 to place the object over the location and to de-actuate the gripping unit and the clamping unit for releasing the object."
