MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621010365 A) filed by Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, on Jan. 31, for 'herbal handwash production device.'

Inventor(s) include Sukhdeep Kaur; Ayush Gour; Rajkumar Rajbhar; Deep Dave; and Dr. Sanket Badiyani.

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An herbal handwash production device, comprising of a housing 101, an input means 102 to enable a user to provide input specifications regarding required ingredients, an imaging camera 103 to identify users, record their preferences, and automatically retrieve saved handwash recipes, an electronically controlled nozzle 104 to hold and dispense separate herbal ingredients as per requirement, a secondary electronically controlled nozzle 106 for thickening, foaming, preserving, and base agents, an adjustable telescopic stirring rod 108 to dynamically and uniformly mix received ingredients into a homogeneous handwash formulation, a pump and conduit 117 for controlled and contamination-free transfer of the finished product, a Peltier thermoelectric unit to maintain optimal temperature conditions during and after formulation, a spray nozzles 114 to rinse and sanitize the formulation chamber after each use, and a set of iris openings 116 to open for drainage of water after cleaning."
