MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517066470 A) filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd., Beijing, on July 11, for 'hybrid automatic repeat request (harq) configuration method, and apparatus.'

The method executed by a terminal device comprises: obtaining an HARQ configuration instruction; and according to the configuration instruction, performing validity configuration on one or more HARQ processes among HARQ processes supported by the terminal device. Therefore, the terminal device may timely and accurately determine, according to the configuration instruction, an HARQ feedback operation corresponding to the one or more HARQ processes among the supported HARQ processes, so as to perform validity configuration on the HARQ processes."
