MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511124603 A) filed by K. R. Mangalam University, Gurugram, Haryana, on Dec. 10, 2025, for 'hybrid bilstm-hgboost framework with context-aware data augmentation for power load forecasting.'
Inventor(s) include Neetu Chauhan; and Dr. Shweta Bansal.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A hybrid forecasting method integrates Context-Aware Data Feature Augmentation, BiLSTM-based latent feature extraction, and Histogram-Based Gradient Boosting regression to predict electricity load. The system enhances contextual sensitivity, reduces data sparsity, and improves accuracy, scalability, and robustness for smart grid, renewable energy, and real-time energy management applications."
