MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511125874 A) filed by Metacity Decor India Private Limited, New Delhi, on Dec. 12, 2025, for 'hybrid composite panel assembly and manufacturing method.'
Inventor(s) include Lalit Mittal.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a hybrid louver panel system (100) and a method (200) for its manufacture. The system comprises a base panel (110), such as an aluminium composite panel (ACP) or an aluminium sheet, supporting a plurality of aluminium sections (120). Specifically, the aluminium sections (120) are laminated with a colour coated aluminium coil or PVC film using PUR glue to form a composite louver element. These laminated sections are then bonded and mechanically fastened (142) to the base panel (110). The resulting assembly offers the structural rigidity of the section, the aesthetic versatility of the coated coil/film, and the flexibility to bend up to 90 degrees without delamination, making it suitable for complex exterior and interior architectural designs."
