MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517059457 A) filed by Robert Bosch Gmbh, Stuttgart, Germany, on June 20, for 'hydraulic pressure control unit.'

Inventor(s) include Ikeda, Yuki.

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a hydraulic pressure control unit capable of controlling loss when a field effect transistor is off. A hydraulic pressure control unit 5 according to the present invention is used in a brake system of a saddled vehicle, and comprises: a hydraulic pressure control mechanism including at least one pump that is provided to a brake fluid channel communicating with a master cylinder, and a motor 35 that drives the pump; a field effect transistor 37 that blocks or allows the passage of a current flowing from a battery 8 to the motor 35; and a controller 52 that controls the operation of the hydraulic pressure control mechanism and the field effect transistor 37. The controller 52 includes: an acquisition unit that acquires load fluctuation information related to load fluctuations in the motor 35; and a control section that adjusts the blocking timing for blocking the current flowing to the motor 35 by means of the field effect transistor 37 on the basis of the load fluctuation information while in a state in which the current is flowing from the battery to the motor 35."

The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 06, 2023, under International application No.PCT/IB2023/062305.
