Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Improved Process For The Preparation Of A Spinning Solution For The Production Of Acrylic Fiber Precursors Of Carbon Fibers And For The Preparation Of The Relative Carbon Fibers' Filed by Montefibre Mae Technologies S. R. L.

MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202414090575 A) filed by Montefibre Mae Technologies S. R. L., Milano, Italy, on Nov. 21, 2024, for 'improved process for the preparation of a spinning solution for the production of acrylic fiber precursors of carbon fibers and for the preparation of the relative carbon fibers.'

Inventor(s) include Francalanci Franco; Cassi Giulia; Correia Paulo; and Vidigal Ana Paula.

The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An optimized process for the preparation of a spinning solution for the production of acrylic fiber precursors (PAN) of carbon fibers and an optimized process for the production of carbon fibers from said acrylic precursor (PAN), are described."
