MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202544039232 A) filed by Nokia Technologies Oy, Espoo, Finland, on April 23, for 'indicating status of timer used for uplink transmission extension.'
Inventor(s) include Mads Lauridsen; and Ping Yuan.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is a method comprising determining a status of a timer used for uplink transmission extension of a user equipment whose global navigation satellite system validity duration has expired; and transmitting, to an access node controlling a target cell of a handover of the user equipment, information indicating the status of the timer of the user equipment."
