According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an information provision system for food-serving stores that makes it possible to support management of diverse dietary habits while maintaining balanced nutrition. An information provision system for food-serving stores comprising: a food information storage unit that stores the food served by a food-serving store in association with food nutrition information relating to the nutrition of food; a meal information storage unit that stores user meal information including information relating to the nutrition of food that was eaten by a prescribed user in the past or that is expected to be eaten by the user in the future, in association with the date/time or the period of eating; a nutritional balance determination unit that extracts, from the food stored in the food information storage unit, recommended food suitable for the user from the standpoint of nutrition by using the user meal information and the food nutrition information; and a communication control unit that communicates, to an information terminal of the user, information relating to the recommended food extracted by the nutritional balance determination unit and a recommended food-serving store that serves the recommended food."
