MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527067020 A) filed by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., Guangdong, China, on July 14, for 'information transmission method and apparatus.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present application relates to the technical field of wireless communications. Provided are an information transmission method and apparatus, which are used for reducing interference between networks. In the method, a first apparatus may receive a first data packet, the first data packet comprising first information and second information, wherein the first information indicates at least one ranging block which is occupied by a session corresponding to the first information, the second information indicates that the first information is associated with a plurality of ranging blocks, and the plurality of ranging blocks comprise at least one ranging block; and according to the first information, the first apparatus may determine, from among the plurality of ranging blocks, a ranging block which is occupied by the session. On the basis of the solution, at least one ranging block, which is occupied by a session, is indicated by means of first information associated with a plurality of ranging blocks, and a first apparatus may determine, from among the plurality of ranging blocks, a ranging block which is occupied by the session, such that the ranging block, which has been occupied, can be avoided during ranging, thereby reducing interference."
