MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006631 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 31, 2024, for 'injured person carriage device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Rupinder Kaur Sodhi; Dr. Dinesh Arora; and Dr. Amresh Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An injured person carriage device comprises of a cuboidal body 1 positioned on a ground surface laid with an injured person, a touch enabled screen 2 to give input commands for carrying the injured to a desired location, a camera 3 for detecting exact location of the injured user, multiple of motorized omnidirectional wheels for maneuvering and positioning the body 1 in proximity to head portion of the person in a manner to position a plate 5, a platform 6 over the plate 5, and initially positioned near end portion of the plate 5, a cushion pad for providing comfort to the person, a motorized hinge 8 for tilting the member 7 to lift the head portion of the person, a pair of motorized clamps for gripping the person's shoulder, and motorized rollers 9 to rotate for translating the platform 6 via a pair of guiding rails 10."
