MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441033086 A) filed by K. Ramakrishnan College Of Technology, Trichy, Tamil Nadu, on April 26, 2024, for 'instant semi-automated floor cleaner.'
Inventor(s) include Mr. G. Praveen Kumar; Mr. V. Praveen Kumar; Mr. S. Sesil Raj; Mr. R. Suriya Kumar; and Mr. R. Ramkumar.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses Instant semi-automated floor cleaner for the dust cleaning in floor. The Instant semi-automated floor cleaner comprises of plurality of shaft (5) which is connect to the base frame (1) of machine. The plurality of wheel (6) is configured to move the machine which is operable by operator. The stepper motor (4) is configured to rotate the sweeper (9) to move dust from the floor to the circular brush (8). The circular brush (8) is configured to push the dust from the floor to the dust collector (7) by rotatory motion through the motor (3) setup. The motor (3) setup is comprising of shaft, motor (3), battery and switch where motor (3) is configured to rotate the circular brush (8). The motor (3) is operable by the power source like battery by turning on the switch. The sweeper (9) is operable by stepper motor (4) setup as same as in motor (3) setup which is configured to collect the dust from the side of the machine and push to the circular brush (8). The circular brush (8) pushes all the dust particles to the dust collector (7) by rotating of brush (8) shaft."
