MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411001606 A) filed by Kaur, Ravinder, New Delhi, on Jan. 9, 2024, for 'instant standee - a foldable display device that installs instantly.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A foldable display device 100 includes a front panel 102, a back panel 104 pivotally coupled to a back side of the front panel 102 for pivotal movement along a vertical axis for movement between a folded position, in which the back panel 104 rests against back side of the front panel 102, and a deployed position, in which the back panel 104 is positioned generally perpendicular to the back side of the front panel 102, and at least one bottom panel 106 pivotally coupled to the back panel 104 for pivotal movement along a horizontal hinge 112 located along a bottom edge of the back panel 104 for movement between a folded position, in which the bottom panel 106 aligns with the back panel 104, and a deployed position, in which the bottom panel 106 is positioned generally perpendicular to the back panel 104."
