MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517097087 A) filed by Nippon Steel Corporation, Tokyo, on Oct. 8, for 'insulation coating treatment liquid for grain-oriented electrical steel sheet, method for producing same, and method for producing grain-oriented electrical steel sheet.'
Inventor(s) include Takatani, Shinsuke; Takeda, Kazutoshi; and Shibayama, Atsushi.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This insulating film processing liquid for grain-oriented electrical steel sheets contains colloidal silica and a phosphoric acid metal salt of at least one metal selected from K, Al, Fe, Mg, Mn, Ni, Zn, Co, Mo, V, W, and Zr. In the insulating film processing liquid, the K2O/SiO2 ratio of the K amount expressed as K2O and the Si amount expressed as SiO2 is 0.5-10% in mass%."
The patent application was internationally filed on Apr. 05, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/014019.
